Step 1 – complete this online application (name and email). You should receive an email auto-response message confirming that your application has been submitted.
You will receive a second email invitation from social@ekocare.co to attend an open model call with available date/times.
Step 2 – respond to the second email with your choice of appointment date/time.
You will receive an email confirmation of your appointment along with specific instructions
Step 3 – arrive up to 15 minutes prior to and no later than 15 later than your chosen appointment time.
After you have: (1) submitted an online application and (2) received and confirmed your invitation and appointment time to attend an open model call – when you arrive it at the school expect to:
1 – Tour Riverside Barber and Beauty Institute.
2 – confirm name, contact info and age

3 – take initial “polaroid”.
4 – intro/overview of:
professional products and product companies,
the EKO brand, products and services.

5 – Check-in and receive facial + shampoo service.
Initial “screen test” – have applicant create a “check-in” video with the EKO phone and one from their phone that they need to attempt to post to their preferred social media platform.
Professional skin and hair analysis and consultation.
Introduce each product to the applicant and Patch test

Hair texture is based on the diameter of each individual hair strand and is usually classified as fine, medium or course and doesn’t actually have anything to do with how your hair “feels”.
Wave/curl pattern determines your hair type (1 – 4c).
Wave and curl patterns can be catagorized into a combination of letters and numbers from 1 to 4c. The number indicates the amount of curl and the letter indicates the tightness.
1 is straight hair; 2 is wavy hair, 3 is a spiral like curl and 4 is coily.
